British-born photographer Benjamin Arthur welcomes you to my little corner of the Internet. I love what I do and am totally passionate about it.

I specialize in 3 broad areas; portraiture, travel and schools. I endeavor to do my very best to capture the spirit of a person or a place. I am available for commission anywhere in the world but work primarily out of the UK.

My work is instinctive and based on a keen sense of composition and perception. I try to bring freshness into my photography, which should be clear from a glance through some of the pages here. I try to see the world rather than just look at it. Henri Cartier-Bresson said, “Photographers deal in things which are continually vanishing and when they have vanished there is no contrivance on earth which can make them come back again.” And this, ultimately is what it’s all about… capturing that elusive, magical moment.

I negotiate rates on a per-job basis and work with a mix of corporate and private clients.
